I complain about my campers pretty much every day. They bully me and make fun of me and just generally make my job much more difficult than it should be. but between Friday’s luau and today’s trip to Playland I remember why I love this job so much. between their made up songs and endless energy and just general innocence they make every day fun. They laugh non stop and can entertain themselves and me in the most ridiculous ways. I had 3 up on a stage today singing a made up song about monkeys just because they wanted to. They drew quite a crowd. Days like today make me wish I could be 9 years old forever. Kids are so much more accepting and care-free than adults.

I wanna cry. I just got kicked out of my building at school. because they decided to turn my floor into a guys’ floor. great. so now, my roommate and i will be living on the other side of campus. a good 25 minute walk from pretty much my entire life at college. It sucks. I loved last year. it was nothing to walk in and out of everyone’s rooms, everyone was always there. If i forgot my key and got locked out it was fine, i could sit in someones room till my roomie got back. this sucks so bad.
